T h e    Y o u n g e r    G e n e r a t i o n

From newborn to two years and on to the teens, our children's lives demand loads of our time, attention, and dollars. Between spitting up, toilet training, tantrums, sibling rivalry, puberty, and the teen years, we experience some of the most emotionally draining and exhilarating moments of our lives. A child comes into this world knowing almost nothing, learns something new every single day, and, for awhile. thinks we know everything. Then, suddenly, we find out that we know nothing. Every generation of teenagers probably thinks that their parents don't understand them, or that they are the first to experiment, or to make discoveries. Have we got news for them! We just have to wait till they have kids of their own for the paybacks.

The rooms of The Younger Generation are for relating the experiences of children growing up and changing into young adults. We hope that grandparents will join in. Below, you will find links to brief intros to each posting in The Younger Generation categories.

If you'd like to share your own thoughts and views on the domestic side of our lives or respond to one of the postings already here, click here for the hows and whys of posting.
