Navigating the teenage years can be a relentless struggle for both parents and teens; however, these years have their rewards as well. Teenagers will rebel; that's a given. As they strive for independence and acceptance, they need support from the homefront. The keys for parents to get through these difficult times are patience, consistency, understanding—and remembering how they felt when they were teenagers.
