For many of us, pets are more than just animals. Our pets are members of our family and we relate to them as such. Lifelong responsibility to our pets comes along with the many rewards we gain from our relationships with them. Pets need to be spayed or neutered. Pets need the right home, an environment that provides them with enough care, attention, exercise, and discipline. Children need to be taught how to interact with animals and not be allowed to treat them as toys.
